Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in Fairfield, NJ

We are seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a well-established private practice in Fairfield, NJ. The ideal candidate is confident in seeing a broad patient population and comfortable performing minor procedures in an outpatient primary care setting. Patient Volume: 20–30 patients per day Required Clinical Skills: General Procedures: EKG Interpretation Minor Surgical Procedures: I&D (Incision & Drainage) Suturing of Minor Lacerations Occupational Medicine Procedures: Employment Physicals Disability Exams Diagnosis & Management of Common Industrial-Related Medical Conditions Requirements: Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Active New Jersey Medical License BLS Certification DEA (preferred) Experience with occupational medicine is a plus Located in Essex County, Fairfield offers a convenient suburban setting with quick access to New York City, a variety of restaurants, shopping, and excellent schools.
