Selective Factor (Screen Out): You must have a current State of Arizona Water Treatment I license and a State of Arizona Water Distribution II license. Licenses from other states with the same grades may be considered. It is strongly encouraged to also upload this certification document into your application package as well. To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability To Do The Work Of A Utility Systems Repairer Operator Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT). Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprints reading) Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc. Knowledge of materials Technical Practices (theoretical precise, artistic) Use of Measuring Instruments If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration. To be found minimally qualified, your resume must show: I am able to perform the full range of Utility Systems Repairer-Operator tasks at the journeyman level under normal supervision completing the most complex and unusual tasks of a utility systems repairer operator. Independently oversee the operation, maintenance, and rehabilitation of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, water distribution systems, and/or wastewater treatment collection systems. Oversee the operation, maintenance, and rehabilitation of potable water pumping, storage, transmission, treatment and local distribution systems, wastewater collection and pumping systems; reclaim water pumping, storage, transmission systems; chlorination systems. Oversee the operation, maintenance, and rehabilitation of water treatment facilities with daily capacity in excess of 1.0 million gallons per day and wastewater treatment facilities with daily capacity of 750,000 gallons per day.
