Key Responsibilities As Assistant Manager , you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the venue. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and motivating a large front-of-house team Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction Managing daily operations , including opening and closing procedures Conducting team briefings and communicating KPIs and targets Managing rotas , labour costs, and shift cover Supporting with recruitment , onboarding, and training Monitoring food and drink quality , presentation, and portion control Overseeing stock levels , ordering, and wastage control Supporting marketing initiatives , events, and promotions Handling guest complaints with professionalism and care Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture Skills and Experience Required To succeed in this Assistant Manager role, you will need: Previous management or supervisory experience in a busy restaurant or bar Strong leadership and communication skills A hands-on, confident, and proactive approach Excellent knowledge of food and drink , especially fresh ingredients A solid understanding of health & safety , compliance, and operational procedures The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities A passion for hospitality , team development , and customer service Commercial awareness and a desire to grow within a forward-thinking business Whats on Offer Competitive salary: £30,000 £34,000 Tips and service charge 28 days paid holiday 50% off food for you and your friends 20% off food for friends and family Staff meals during shifts Ongoing training and development Clear career progression opportunities A fun, inclusive, and supportive working environment AMRT1_UKCT
