Design Engineer

Based in the Cookstown / Magherafelt area, my client is a leading heavy machinery company who manufacture niche products for the global market. They are currently recruiting a Design Engineer with at least 1 years design experience in a similar industry to be responsible for producing world class product design in line with company standards and customer expectations to a high-quality standard. On offer is a salary of £32,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, pension and an early finish every Friday. Role Design Engineer Product Design : Develop and produce product designs, ensuring they meet client specifications as well as company and industry standards. Prototype and Testing : Create prototypes and conduct tests to evaluate the functionality and performance of designs, making necessary adjustments based on feedback. Collaboration : Work closely with other engineers, Directors, Dealers and stakeholders to ensure that designs align with project goals and user needs, representing the company professionally at all times. Documentation : Produce and maintain detailed records of design processes, specifications, bill of materials, user manuals and revisions to ensure compliance and facilitate future improvements.
