Food and Beverage Manager

The Grand Hotel Leicester by The Unlimited Collection is seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Manager to help implement the business objectives and the overall management of the catering operation for the Hotel. You will report to the Food and Beverage Director, supporting in identifying and developing commercial opportunities to maximise income, the catering operation for the hotel includes the Restaurant, Bar and Meeting & Events. A Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for: Attending hotel operations meetings to provide catering updates Developing the business plan and identifying commercial opportunities to maximise income and deliver budgets Proactively seek new and innovative opportunities to improve the guest experience Supporting the production and costing of menus and new dishes for the restaurant and special events Managing the recruitment, selection and training of new Food and Beverage staff Establishing, maintaing and liaising with suppliers and clients, while locally sourcing quality produce and ethically produced food To be successful in the role of Food and Beverage Manager, we require: Previous hospitality experience at managerial level Previous 4-star hotel restaurant experience Customer focused approach Previous experience in a Rosette environment is preferred but not essential Customer service experience and ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills Comfortable handling meat and alcohol Working with us provides the following benefits to you: Genuine career opportunities within our business Valuable on the job training, along with access to our digital online learning platform and numerous other learning and development opportunities About Us The Grand Hotel Leicester by The Unlimited Collection is a brand of The Ascott Limited.
