Here at BaxterStorey We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated Bid Writer. The role is fun and varied. As the Bid Writer you will be responsible for managing the tender process for all new business, specifically responding to requests for information, creating and writing tender bids and proposals and preparing presentations. We have a proven track record of developing and nurturing successful business development professionals who started their career as bid writers, now leaders in their field still enjoying their career and successfully winning fabulous contracts for BaxterStorey Job Description Completion of Tender Action Plan upon sight of project in conjunction with Business Development and Operations as appropriate Create high quality PQQ submissions To manage timeframes for information gathering from our teams, responses and submissions Liaising with Operations to gather all relevant and specific information to submit wining tenders Attend company innovation and development sessions to gather information and new ideas for inclusion in future projects Create tender responses that meet specific client objectives and protect brand BaxterStorey Sense check to ensure bids contain the latest and best information Liaison with internal and external design and print companies as appropriate for marketing visuals, folder designs and servery/kitchen visuals as required Liaise with proof-readers to ensure all documents are properly checked Qualifications Excellent research, writing and checking skills, with close attention to detail Good ability with it packages, specifically adobe indesign Enthusiasm and confidence to win new business The ability to use initiative and work across different teams Good time-management and organisation skills Concern for quality and privacy of information Additional Information For almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether thats an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.
