Job Title: Sous Chef Location: Leeds City Centre Iconic Central Hotel Salary: £32,000 approx. £2,000 tips per year Hours: 45 hours per week Team: Join a passionate brigade of 13 chefs The Opportunity Are you a talented Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step? This is your chance ! Working alongside two other Sous Chefs and a hands-on Head Chef who leads from the front, youll be part of a well-established, close-knit team known for its low turnover, professionalism, and positive work culture. The menu features a variety of fresh, seasonal dishes , all made in-house. Youll have creative freedom and the opportunity to contribute your own specials while helping drive high standard. This is a busy restaurant with a high cover turnover & heavy on events and meetings. The menu features a variety of dishes all freshly made in house, You will work closely with the Head Chef who is hands on and found leading from the front on the pass. The Kitchen team has been in place firmly for 4 years with each member in place for over a year, there is very low staff turnover here and once you join the team you'll understand why. It's a friendly bunch of proffessionals (no egos) wanting to make great fresh food creating their own seasonal specials, They have a great service and go home with the ability to switch off on their days off knowing things are running smoothly.
