Head Chef – Premium Event Hospitality Salary: £50,000 per year Contract Type: Full-time Location: Manchester Schedule: Weekend availability required Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the culinary hospitality operations for high-profile events at a major UK venue. This role is central to delivering a premium dining experience for guests on event and match days, ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation across all food offerings. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations for hospitality-led events, maintaining a consistently high standard of food and service. Inspire and lead the kitchen team to ensure productivity, quality, and a culture of high performance. Collaborate on creative and diverse menu development with clear specifications and allergen details. Manage food ordering and stock levels efficiently, aligning with sales forecasts and using preferred suppliers to meet and exceed food gross profit targets. Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, HACCP, COSHH, and related legal and policy standards. Provide culinary support across other departments as required. Requirements Demonstrable experience as a Head Chef in a large-scale, high-volume environment (e.g. stadiums, arenas, or major event venues). Strong background in fine dining, with the ability to deliver refined, premium menus at scale. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, COSHH, and Risk Assessment protocols. Proven track record of maintaining high culinary standards and managing operational logistics. Excellent planning and organisational skills. A passion for food, sustainability, and awareness of current culinary trends. Relevant hygiene certifications required.
