Director of Anesthesia

In this position as Director of Anesthesia you will enjoy both Administrative/ Leadership responsibilities along with Clinical care with a 16 provider Anesthesia Group . Some of your Administrative components as Director will include: Assisting with strategic planning for the Anesthesia Service at the Hospital. Planning sessions with the COO and CMO relative to equipment recommendations, pharmaceuticals, staffing needs. Running the Anesthesia Committee meeting each month. Working in conjunction with Services COO and CMO to oversee all of Anesthesia services. Monitoring the Anesthesiologists’ and CRNAs’ quality of care through OPPE, trending opportunities for improvement, and helping to design an FPPE as needed. Overseeing operational policies, procedures and protocols for the anesthesia service to ensure the delivery of quality patient care; recommend changes to existing procedures, protocols, and practices for the anesthesia service.
