Sous Chef & chef de partie 4 DAY WEEK - required in the Thetford area, Sous chef paying £33000 - £35000 overtime and tips (about £38k OTE ) and chef de partie is £31k tips (OTE around 34k). This establiment uses some great meats and produce from local farms. you will really enjoy using the produce on the venue. This role will be based on one of the sections. This is for a fresh food Gastro pub. The role POSITION 1: as a sous chef you will support the head chef in the running of the kitchen of this meat focused gastro pub. You will love the produce they use and type of ingredients. As a sous chef you will run the kitchen when the head chef is off, you will cook on a section and prep a section on the other days. This role will include all the normal sous chef duties. POSITION 2: As a chef de partie you will run a section in the kitchen, prep your section for service and cook in service, using fresh food. The chef de partie role will include all the standard chef de partie duties. Experience We are looking for a sous chef and chef de partie from a fresh food background, with a passion for local and seasonal produce. you will have good knife skills and enjoy cooking a range of dishes.
