A new opening fine dining Japanese restaurant in Central London is looking for an Assistant General Manager to lead their team. £50,000-60,000. Job Title: Assistant General Manager Location: Central London (W1) Salary: £55,000£60,000 per annum Type: Full-Time | Permanent We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant General Manager to join a high-end, contemporary Japanese restaurant in the heart of London. Located within a stunning Grade II listed building, this unique venue offers an immersive dining experience that blends architectural grandeur with modern Japanese cuisine. About the Venue: Housed in a beautifully restored building following a £15 million refurbishment, the restaurant features: A grand main dining hall with 80 covers A lounge-style bar located in the original bank vault with 24 covers A private dining room for 24 covers and an outdoor terrace with 12 covers Total dining capacity: 128 This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that prides itself on exceptional service, an elegant setting, and an innovative menu that celebrates sushi, robata grilling, kushiyaki skewers, and high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. The Role: As Assistant General Manager, youll support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading a passionate FOH team, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. Youll play a key role in maintaining high service standards, managing staff development, driving profitability, and helping shape the growth of this prestigious venue.
