The Role: We are looking for a warm, polished, and highly organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of AKIRA. You will play a vital role in creating first impressions, managing guest flow, and upholding the high standards of hospitality we are known for. Key Responsibilities: Greet and seat guests in a professional and hospitable manner Manage reservations across phone, email, and online booking platforms Coordinate front-of-house operations efficiently during busy periods Communicate guest needs and preferences to the wider team Handle inquiries and resolve guest concerns with care and discretion Assist with the smooth running of the host station and reception area Requirements: Prior experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role (ideally in fine dining) Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Familiarity with reservation systems such as OpenTable or ResDiary Poised, well-presented, and composed under pressure Interest in or knowledge of Japanese food and culture is highly desirable Fluent in English; Japanese language ability is a plus AMRT1_UKCT
