Job Description Job Description Kitchen Manager The Halal Guys (Hillcrest, CA) Pay: $24$26/hr Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Location: Hillcrest, San Diego, CA About the Role: The Halal Guys are bringing our famous flavors to Hillcrest! Were looking for a hands-on, motivated Kitchen Manager to lead daily BOH operations and set the standard for excellence in our very first San Diego location. This is an opportunity to grow with a high-energy, fast-casual franchise as we expand across the region. We are ready to hire and train immediately. This position includes 3 weeks of paid training in Tempe, AZ and 1 week in New York City to fully immerse you in The Halal Guys experience and set you up for long-term success. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards Manage prep, cook times, and line flow during high-volume hours Handle inventory, ordering, and waste management efficiently Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Train, coach, and develop team members Collaborate with ownership to optimize kitchen operations and support future openings What Were Looking For: 2 years of kitchen leadership experience (quick-service or fast-casual preferred) Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen management Positive, energetic leader who thrives under pressure Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required Must be reliable, organized, and growth-minded Why Join Us: $24$26/hr starting pay, depending on experience Full-time schedule with overtime opportunities Ground-floor opportunity with room to grow as we expand Be a part of launching The Halal Guys in San Diego!
