Key Responsibilities: Deliver the school’s mathematics curriculum objectives as outlined in course materials, ensuring excellence in instruction for international students. Achieve a satisfactory pass rate in course assessments, where applicable, to meet academic standards. Receive positive feedback from parents of participating students, as evaluated by the school at the end of the term. Reside in the student dormitory, providing 24/7 pastoral care, including mentoring, conflict resolution, and safeguarding. Actively participate in school life, including taking meals with students and fostering their personal and social development. Support students with ADD/ADHD and other special needs through differentiated instruction, behavior management, and development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Requirements: Native or near-native English proficiency (written and spoken) to deliver instruction and communicate effectively in an international setting. Proven teaching experience in mathematics, preferably in international or UK curricula (e.g., IB, A-Levels, or equivalent). Significant pastoral experience in a boarding school or similar residential setting, with training in student welfare and safeguarding. Demonstrated expertise in supporting students with ADD/ADHD, including experience with IEPs, differentiated instruction, and behavioral strategies. Willingness to live in the school dormitory in the Bernese Oberland for the duration of the contract (January–March 2026).
