This time, we are looking for a Hotel Director for our hotels in the center of Florence, Room Mate Luca & Isabella. Would you like to discover more? What are we looking for? A Hotel Director What would you do with us? The Hotel Director will be responsible for the daily management of the hotel and its staff. They will also be accountable for budgeting and financial management, planning, organizing, and directing all hotel services, including front-of-house (reception, concierge, reservations), food and beverage operations, and housekeeping. Implement quality and service standards defined by the chain. Act as an ambassador of the company's values and philosophy. Lead the hotel team. Communicate with the chain's central offices, especially the revenue department. Handle public relations and customer interactions. Manage and train staff continuously. Prepare and lead meetings with department heads and all hotel staff. Evaluate and supervise customer satisfaction levels. Handle complaints and manage the hotel's reputation. Ensure hotel standards are met. Implement chain procedures. Manage budgets, costs, and personnel expenses. Approve all purchasing requests. Perform Director on Duty (DoD) duties on designated weekends. Conduct local commercial visits. Coordinate all departments to ensure smooth daily operations. Maximize profit and control deviations. Make decisions and solve problems effectively. Oversee budgeting and reporting processes. What are we looking for? Previous experience as a Hotel Director or in other hotel management roles. Skills in SAP, Opera PMS, Micros, Excel. Knowledge of the Italian market. Strong team management skills. Knowledge of all hotel departments. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Fluency in Italian is mandatory; Spanish is a plus. Proficiency in English at a high level.
