What is our Clinical Nurse role? As part of the Community Adult Mental Health Service, the Clinical Nurse functions as a case manager in a multidisciplinary team. This role is responsible for the clinical management of consumers and families/carers in nominated areas, and provides consultation to staff, consumers, families/carers, and other services. Additionally, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for assessment of consumers in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Specialist as necessary. The Community Adult Mental Health Service is a State Government health service providing specialist mental health assessment and treatment for people with mental health needs living in the community.
