Job Description

Temporary 12 months YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Collaborate with Biomechanics and Product Ergonomics professionals in the development of recreational and urban mobility vehicles, including our electric vehicles; Collect and process anthropometric, biomechanical, physiological and perceptual data using various scientific tools, both in the laboratory and in real-life driving situations. Compile and structure this information in a database and in the form of reports; Identify the needs and evaluate cognitive performance (intuition, distraction, ) to develop user interfaces (UI) such as dials (tactile and others) and localized controls on steering wheels, handlebars and consoles, in a user experience (UX) context; Participate in brainstorming and define how to meet customers' ergonomic needs, with a view to optimizing their performance, learning and ease of use in relation to our products; Play an important role in initiating, developing and validating innovative concepts, in close collaboration with product development YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or equivalent. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in biomechanics and ergonomics in product design (human factors) including cognitive ergonomics, linked to the development of sports and motorized recreational products. Fluency in French and English to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis Strong skills in communicating evaluation results via analysis reports and presentations In-depth knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office, as well as biomechanics data acquisition and analysis tools, and 3D modeling software. Leadership, professional and scientific ethics, and able to work autonomously while having strong interdisciplinary collaborative skills; Be willing or able to drive a variety of recreational and urban mobility vehicles.
