Cook Residential Short Breaks Service Location: Hamilton, ML3 Hours: Part time- Monday to Friday, 3:00pm 7:00pm (Potential for extended hours on Mondays & Fridays) Contract: 8 Weeks (Starting ASAP) Service Type: Residential Short Breaks for Young People with Learning Disabilities 21 HSC are seeking a dedicated Cook for a short termresidential service providing short-term care to young people with learning disabilities. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for preparing home-cooked evening meals and occasional baking for 10 young people. Many service users have specific dietary requirements , so attention to detail and awareness of allergies or special diets is essential. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve nutritious, home-cooked meals Cater to a range of dietary needs and allergies Support meal planning and, if required, shopping (additional hours available) Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness Requirements: Experience cooking for groups (experience in care or education settings is a plus) Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management Food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, flexible, and ideally available for the full 8-week term Compassionate and understanding of the needs of young people with disabilities To Apply To apply for this role, please click apply and send an up-to-date CV in support of your application in the first instance.
