Job Description
*Full-Time Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Economics* The Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer or Senior Lecturer for Academic Year 2026-27. Candidates should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate, liberal arts education. Ph.D. in Economics or related field required. We are seeking to hire a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with substantial experience teaching a range of undergraduate economics courses, including principles, intermediate theory, and a variety of electives both at the intermediate and advanced levels. While we welcome applications from candidates at different career stages, the initial appointment may be made at the Senior Lecturer level, depending on qualifications and teaching experience. Teaching experience outside the University of Vermont may be considered in evaluating eligibility for appointment or promotion at the Senior Lecturer level, alongside demonstrated teaching effectiveness at UVM.
