Vergiate hosts the Avionics (AWS) domain, which provides front desk reparations for civil and military operators, ground and in-flight support, and technical support for aircraft developers, operators, and maintenance centers. The Avionics Maintenance Technician at Thales Avionics Services Worldwide (Italy) is responsible for repairing avionics equipment while adhering to lead times, cost, and quality expectations. The role involves progressing towards becoming Certifying Staff for Repair Activities. Key Responsibilities Ensuring the repair of mechanical and electronic equipment. Performing inspections, fault investigations, and repairs on equipment according to maintenance documentation. Guaranteeing repair quality, adherence to lead times, and cost efficiency. Preparing technical quotations and workshop reports. Ensuring equipment conformity. Maintaining activity traceability within the ERP system (SAP R3). Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Qualifications: Diploma in electronics (“Perito Elettronico” level). Experience: 5 years in the aeronautical domain. Other Skills: Languages: Italian (proficient), Technical English (reading technical documentation and writing reports), French (plus). Previous qualification as Certifying Staff in Civil (CIT C) (plus). Teamwork and adaptability. Proficiency in electronics. Computer skills: Office Suite familiarity.
