BAR MANAGER San Clemente Palace, Venice Bar Manager is in charge of overseeing Clemente Bar, Sunset Bar and Pool Bar venues, which offer traditional and signature Italian cocktails. The Bar Manager will manage the entire staff and report directly to the F&B Director, contributing to daily operations and financial management, and being fully responsible for the success of these outlets. Duties and responsibilities: Motivate, train, and supervise all bar staff. Ensure that San Clemente Palace's Legendary Quality Standards, policies, and procedures are properly understood and followed by the team. Ensure the outlets operate efficiently and profitably while maintaining standards in food, service, health & safety, and reputation. Identify staff training needs and carry out development programs. Ensure staff have good knowledge of cocktails and beverages and deliver excellent service to guests. Maintain grooming and hygiene standards at all times. Handle guest complaints according to hotel standards. Pay special attention to VIP guests. Ensure tables and service stations are set up according to hotel standards and policies. Ensure staff are familiar with billing procedures. Perform any other duties assigned by management. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a bar management role within a luxury hotel or restaurant. Proficiency in Italian and English; knowledge of a third language is a plus. A degree in Tourism or Hospitality. In-depth knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beverages. International work experience. Excellent attention to detail and guest service skills. Charming, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. Strong multitasking and teamwork skills. Good IT skills, especially with Micros system. Flexible schedule and willingness to work on weekends and holidays.
