Senior Cluster Information Technology Specialist

At The Westin Excelsior Rome, we are looking for a Senior Cluster Information Technology Specialist, reporting to the Multi-Property IT Manager. Job Summary Contributes advanced knowledge and skill in technology and hospitality business to support assigned properties and IT resources. Implements and monitors systems, manages compliance requirements, and oversees technology planning, decision-making, and maintenance. Engages with technology partners, owners, and staff to understand business needs and formulate IT solutions. Manages property internet support and communicates effectively with stakeholders. Candidate Profile Education and Experience Hospitality Management or related education, awareness of global hospitality technology trends, international experience, and technical experience with hospitality management systems. Minimum 1 year in an Associate Supervisory role, or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1 year project management experience. Solid technical knowledge on servers, Active Directory, Windows Server, LAN networks, and IT standards. Other Skills Competent in English, demonstrated leadership, project management, organization, and negotiation skills. Core Work Activities General Maintain documented goals, execute and prioritize work, stay updated with technological advancements, and perform duties as requested. People Build positive relations, manage performance reviews, ensure communication and training, and develop team members. Process Manage IT inventory, backups, disaster recovery, and system communications. Monitor issue management and participate in regional IT calls. Network Administration Plan and implement network security, support LAN/WAN applications, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and maintain network hardware and software.
