Pipe Fitter: Must have Food Industry experience Temp to perm: Pipe Fitter Location: Grimsby: Pipe Fitter Day shift Hourly: - £20.13ph after 8 hours rises to £30.20ph Saturday: £30.20ph, Sunday: £40.26ph About the position: Pipe Fitter H & B Recruitment are working with an established client seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their team. This role involves working on fabrication and welding projects both in Leicester workshop and at client sites, primarily food manufacturing facilities The position requires flexibility, as there will be travel and overnight stays for site projects. As a Pipe Fitter you will be responsible for: Perform fabrication and welding tasks in the workshop and on-site, using various welding techniques (MIG & TIG to construct, repair, or modify metal structures, machinery, and components. Installation: In line with client requirements fabricate, install and commission where necessary plant, equipment and services at designated sites. Produce high-quality welds and fabrication work, adhering to industry standards and client requirements. Work on a variety of materials, particularly stainless steel, mild steel, and other metals used in food manufacturing environments. Essential Skills: Pipe Fitter Time served/Level 3 Fabrication & Welding Minimum 3 years experience Experience of working within the Food & Beverage Industry Experience of working with 1.5 6 mm stainless steel/aluminium only TIG/MIG Weld experience Pattern development experience Willingness to work away and weekends as required Ideally within a 50 mile radius of our Headquarters Qualifications: Pipe Fitter Apprenticeship trained or time served CSCS or CCNSG site card Benefits: Pipe Fitter Hotel accommodation provided for overnight stays Health and safety training and PPE provided Statutory pension scheme Opportunities for training and professional development Training courses available throughout the year Coding's available Lots of overtime available (at multipliers) Working with blue-chip clients
