Hostess

We are looking for a service-oriented Hostess to join our pre-opening team. Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences. The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food & beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues. Key responsibilities: Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables with professionalism and warmth Manage cloakroom duties and offer a courteous farewell to departing guests Assist with the online reservation system Handle reservation requests and enquiries via phone and email Observe and help maintain the cleanliness and condition of public areas, reporting any issues as needed Handle cash operations in line with internal procedures Anticipate guest needs and provide tailored suggestions or recommendations Understand food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and common allergies or intolerances Use the POS system (Simphony) for service-related tasks Skills and requirements: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and a proactive attitude Previous experience in a similar role in upscale hospitality (preferred) Fluency in Italian & English language Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays What we offer - A stimulating and collaborative work environment in a 5 stars hotel. - Opportunities for professional growth and development. - Competitive salary package. - Room discounts available worldwide within the Hyatt portfolio. ✨Join our pre-opening team to build strong memories together!
