THE ROLE Under the supervision of the Meat Department Supervisor, the Meat Wrapper wraps products in designated packaging and according to procedure and sanitation standards. They arrange packages on display counters or self-service display cases for attractive merchandising. They weigh meat products and produces labels indicating weight and price of merchandise. They keep display counters and cases clean and organized. They ensure the cutting and wrapping area is clean and sanitized according to health and safety standards. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will be considered Experience In food handling In product merchandising Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
