About the Role: Jamie Northrop Associates Inc serves as a business development partner for companies in the Contract Furnishings Industry. They specialize in helping clients secure contract opportunities with Government, Education, and Healthcare Facilities across the United States and internationally. The firm focuses on connecting clients with potential projects in these sectors. We are a leading general contractor specialized in Government, Education, and Healthcare infrastructure projects , we are hiring a DSP to join our growing team. This is a high-impact role supporting multi-million-dollar construction contracts across pipeline and facility projects throughout the U.S. We are seeking Direct Support staff to fill a number of overnight positions in our supported living homes throughout the area. Requirements Include: Be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Be a high school graduate, have a GED, or demonstrate the ability to provide services according to a plan of service. Be certified in first aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance Have satisfactorily completed a criminal history check. The General Job Description Includes: Provide direct care and support to adults with developmental disabilities - ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Assist individuals with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and other activities of daily living, while promoting their independence and self-determination. Encourage and facilitate the participation of individuals in social, recreational, and vocational activities, both within the program and in the broader community. Promote and teach essential life skills, including communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and self-advocacy, to enhance independence and empower individuals. Observe and document individual progress, behaviors, and any incidents or changes in health or behavior, adhering to all confidentiality and reporting Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that respects and values the diversity, rights, and choices of individuals Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, guardians, and external service providers to ensure coordinated care and seamless delivery of services. Comply with all agency policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all individuals.
