Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert IoT & Telemetry Machines Data Senior Specialist Department: R&D Dept Location: IT, IT Job ID: We are looking for an IoT & Telemetry Machines Data Senior Specialist to join ECS, the newly constituted multi-country, multi-brand & omnichannel coffee player, ECS (part of Lavazza Group). In this role you will transform complex IoT data from our smart vending machines into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. Operating at the intersection of R&D, IoT systems, and business intelligence, you will supports data integration, visualization, and reporting to improve machine performance, customer understanding, and operational efficiency. As part of a cross-functional team, the role contributes to modernizing vending operations and enhancing the customer experience, while balancing project leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your day-to-day activities Data Collection and Integration : Oversee the collection and integration of data from various IoT-enabled vending machines. (e.g. SQL databases, cloud services). Data Analysis and Insights : Analyse the collected data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. This includes creating dashboards, interrogating/manipulating the data, and producing comprehensive reports. System Management : Manage the configurations and status of IoT devices, including software updates to ensure the reliable storage, processing, and analysis of IoT data. Collaboration : Work with cross functional teams to understand data needs and implement effective solutions. This includes collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless data communication and integration. Technical Specifications : Work with IT teams to translate business needs into requirements for development and implementation of IoT solutions and architectures, including device connection, telemetry data management, and integration with other systems for reporting and analytics Data & Technical Expertise: IoT integration, SQL/cloud platforms, device setup, telemetry systems. Analytical Thinking: Skilled in data analysis, dashboard creation, and delivering actionable insights. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge between business needs and technical solutions across teams. Power BI & Analytics: Strong in Power BI, DAX, dataflows, and turning business needs into insights. Data Modeling & Governance: Skilled in integrating/translating data (SQL, Excel, Azure), with governance know-how. UX & Dashboard Design: Builds user-friendly, performance-optimized dashboards with strong visuals.
