Job Summary Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) invites applicants for a Lecturer faculty position responsible for teaching Anatomy and Physiology to Exercise Science, Pre-Allied Health, and Pre-Nursing students starting August 1, 2024. The candidate will report to the Chair of Biological Sciences. Applicants should demonstrate successful instruction in Anatomy and Physiology or have a strong background in Anatomy and Physiology and demonstrate successful instruction in biology-related courses. Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate an aptitude for innovative teaching styles, hands-on and active learning pedagogy, and those with undergraduate teaching experience. This position teaches students in Allied Health and Pre-Nursing fields, thus an ability to emphasize real-life application of knowledge is preferred. In addition to the above, this position will review, evaluate, and recommend student learning materials, and evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving institutional and course goals. The candidate will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Anatomy and Physiology (or a closely related field), on or before the semester of the start date with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours within the discipline, but will also consider a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours within the discipline.
