Job Purpose MSC Cruises is the world’s third-largest cruise brand and a leader in Europe, South America, the Gulf region, and Southern Africa, with significant market share and deployed capacity. Headquartered in Geneva, MSC Cruises operates a modern fleet of 22 ships, with three new vessels launching in 2025, 2026, and 2027. We seek an IT Systems Specialist to maintain and improve onboard processes, platforms, and integrated systems, supporting areas such as F&B, Shorex, Spa, Guest, Crew, Safety, Security, Housekeeping, and Finance. Key Accountabilities Analyze and elicit business requirements for onboard platforms and integrated systems. Support planning, management, and delivery of onboard platforms and systems. Define solutions aligned with business needs. Oversee system settings activities related to new ship operations. Support system updates, testing, and product evolution. Maintain and update the PMS onboard across departments. Assist onboard departments with PMS configurations. Qualifications Experience in the cruise industry; knowledge of hotel operations is a plus. At least 3 years’ experience with IT applications in cruise lines. Knowledge of Retail and Reservation Systems (Oracle Simphony, Silverwhere, TCPOS, etc.). Experience with onboard PMS and ship warehouse processes (Oracle SPMS, MMS, Crunchtime, etc.). Proficiency in Oracle SQL/MySQL. Knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript) is a plus. Familiarity with automation and reporting tools (PowerAutomate, PowerBi, PowerApp) is a plus. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Willingness to travel and work outside the region. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written). Visa Requirements Right to work in Italy.
