This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the delivery of an engaging and inclusive Science curriculum for pupils with a diverse range of needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. If you are interested in this role, APPLY NOW What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in science Child DBS on the update service Proven experience of teaching Science, ideally in an SEN or inclusive education setting A creative and flexible approach to curriculum design and delivery Excellent communication and leadership skills A deep understanding of how to support students with SEND in their learning A commitment to continuous professional development and inclusive education Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, delivery, and assessment of the science curriculum across key stages Adapt and personalise lessons to meet a wide range of learning abilities and needs Inspire and support pupils to develop curiosity and confidence in science Collaborate with the senior leadership team to drive improvements in teaching and learning Monitor pupil progress and use data to inform practice Support and mentor teaching assistants and other colleagues within the subject area Ensure that health and safety practices in practical science lessons are robust and adhered to Lead science-related enrichment activities and cross-curricular projects What We Offer : Competitive salary and benefits.
