Freelance chef

Are you a skilled chef ready for more freedom and variety in your work? We’re looking for experienced Head Chefs, Sous Chefs, and Chef de Parties to join our freelance team across Derby and the surrounding areas. What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll be stepping into kitchens across a wide mix of venues, including: • NHS hospitals & private healthcare settings • Schools, colleges & educational centres • MOD bases & military facilities • Residential care homes & assisted living sites • Local restaurants, pubs & boutique hotels • Holiday parks, leisure resorts & theme parks • Weddings, events, pop-ups & more What We’re Looking For: • Solid experience in professional kitchens (Head Chef, Sous Chef, or CDP level) • At least Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate • A valid DBS is a bonus for education and healthcare sites • Your own transport is helpful but not essential • A proactive attitude, adaptability, and a love for great food What You’ll Get: • Competitive hourly rates – £14 to £22, depending on role and experience • Total flexibility – choose when and where you work • A mix of kitchen settings to keep things interesting • Steady opportunities with respected clients across Derbyshire • A great way to expand your network and build your chef profile Ready to take charge of your schedule and cook in exciting new places?
