Bar Staff

Job Purpose: To provide a warm, professional, and efficient bar service to members and guests of the members club. You’ll ensure a clean, welcoming environment while serving drinks and snacks, maintaining high standards of customer service and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers Operate tills and handle cash/card transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness of the bar, lounge, and seating areas Restock and rotate stock in the bar area and cellar Engage warmly with members and guests, providing excellent customer service Monitor and comply with licensing laws and responsible alcohol service Assist with event setups (e.g., tournaments, private functions) Report any issues or incidents to the Bar/Clubhouse Manager Ensure hygiene, health & safety standards are maintained at all times ✅ Person Specification: Essential: Previous experience working in a bar or hospitality setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Flexible and willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays Smart appearance and friendly manner Desirable: Knowledge of cellar management and basic bar stock control Familiarity with golf club environments or members’ clubs Benefits: Free/discounted golf and clubhouse access Staff meals or discounts during shifts Tips and performance bonuses (where applicable) Supportive team environment and opportunities for progression
