Junior Sous Chef- Immediate Start This is a full-time position working 45 hours per week, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and the other day off will be rotated each week. plus a share of service charge. Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years day off work. As Junior Sous Chef, your duties will include – * Being an integral part of the Kitchen Management team. * Operating and participating in the smooth running of the kitchen and being accountable in the absence of the Head Chef & Sous Chef. * Preparing, cooking and presenting meals to set standards, providing quality and consistency. * To be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all kitchen equipment. * Contributing to identifying chefs with talent and training and developing them. * Monitoring ordering and stocking. The ideal Junior Sous Chef will – * Be an experience chef that can bring ideas and enthusiasm to the team. * Creating ideas for putting a dish on the menu. * Be looking to establish their career further. * Have experience working with fresh, local produce. * Be comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen. * Be creative and enthusiastic
