FULL TIME - CT / CAT SCAN TECHNOLOGIST - IMMEDIATE HIRING! Job description Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Newberg, OR. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical imaging and demonstrate expertise in performing computed tomography scans. This role is critical in providing accurate diagnostic imaging to assist in patient care within our facility, which operates as a Level II trauma center. The CT Technologist will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services. Duties Perform high-quality CT scans on patients, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to discuss imaging results and patient care plans. Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have. Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain optimal images while minimizing discomfort. Adhere to established protocols for radiation safety and patient confidentiality. Document all procedures accurately in the patient's medical record in EPIC, including any pertinent information regarding the patient's condition or history. Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and medical imaging technologies. Requirements Current certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, State licensed 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering)Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)Region of interest measurement (ROI) Abdomen and Pelvis Abdomen without and/or with contrast Intravenous pyelogramPelvis without and/or with contrast Head and Neck Carotid Head without and/or with contrast Sinuses Soft tissue neck Trauma head Spine and Musculoskeletal Cervical Lumbar Musculoskeletal trauma Thoracic Chest Chest without and/or with contras tHeart (e.g., calcium scoring, coronary angiography)*Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta) Equipment GEPACS Professional Knowledge and Skills Isolation Precautions*Preparation and/or administration of contrast mediaRadiation Safety Starting Peripheral IVs Special Procedures Vascular CTA Additional Skills: cover general X Ray dept Join our team as a CT Technologist where you will play an essential role in delivering quality healthcare through advanced imaging techniques!
