CRNA Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Busy Hospital in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage. Myrtle Beach has plenty to do after work whether you love the beach or want to get away from the sand. There are helicopter tours throughout the day that you can follow with any of the ice cream shops in the city. The facility is a Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with cardiac services required. Surgical cases include general, trauma, pediatrics, bariatric, neuro, urology, endoscopy, ENT/head and neck, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, OB/GYN, interventional radiology, plastics, and cardiac, supported by a designated cardiac team. There are 12 operating rooms, including two open-heart suites, and three endoscopy suites. The anesthesia team is mostly medically directed, and CRNAs and CAAs work with a high degree of autonomy once proficient. Regional blocks are performed either by the physician or CRNA/CAA with proper supervision. Coverage primarily consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, with additional options for 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts. The practice emphasizes a strong work-life balance.
