Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly and professional Business Outreach & Administrative Assistant to join our team for a 3-month, full-time assignment. This role involves canvassing businesses in he local business district to confirm they have received the WUA Bylaws. This is not a sale role - just simple, respectful face-to-face interactions with business owners or manager. When not in the field, you will support our office with basic administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and general computer work. Responsibilities: - Visit local businesses in person to verify receipt of WUA Bylaws - Engage with business owners or managers in a professional and courteous manner - Accurately record and track each business visit. - Represent the organization in a friendly, respectful, professional way. - Perform office duties including: - Answering phones and taking messages - Sending and responding to emails - Basic data entry and filing - Using Microsoft Office or similar software for administrative tasks Requirements: - Strong communication and people ski - Comfortable walking and standing for extended perio - Basic computer proficiency (email, Word, Excel, etc.) - Detail-oriented and organized - Dependable and able to work independently - Bilingual (Spanish Preferred) Compensation: $22.00/hour Location: Whittier, California Job Type: Full-Time Duration: 3-Month Temporary Assignment Schedule: Monday - Friday How to Apply: Please reply to this job advertising and submit resume.
