Product Development Technologist

Are you a passionate food Technologist with 2-3 years' experience ready to make your mark in a dynamic, growing ambient food business? We're recruiting for a small, innovative company based in the Central Belt of Scotland, seeking an enthusiastic NPD Technologist to join their team. In this hands-on role, you'll be instrumental in developing exciting new products from concept to launch, contributing to every stage of the NPD process. We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of food science principles, a creative flair for flavour, and a keen eye for detail. If you have a Food Science degree and a proven track record in food product development, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Developing new and improving existing ambient food products. Conducting trials, managing raw materials, and ensuring product quality. Collaborating with various teams to bring innovative ideas to life. What we're looking for: A Food Science degree is essential. 2-3 years of experience in food NPD, ideally within ambient products. A creative, proactive, and problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Salary: Circa £32,000 per annum Location: Central Belt of Scotland Important Note: Applicants must have full working rights in the UK.
