Job Title: Business Development Manager – Fit Out & Refurbishment Location: Hampshire – Office/Hybrid Salary: Competitive Bonus Excellent Benefits Future Build Recruitment are working with a well-established main contractor specialising in high-end fit out and refurbishment projects across the retail, commercial, hospitality, and leisure sectors. With a turnover of c.£30m and projects up to £20m in value, they’re now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their leadership team with a clear path to progress into a Director role within 2 years. This is a unique opportunity to step into a succession plan alongside the current Business Development Director, gaining hands-on support and insight before moving into a senior leadership position. Key Responsibilities: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the contractor’s core sectors Develop and implement long-term business development strategies Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients – some spanning decades Manage complex sales cycles and high-value project opportunities Work closely with pre-construction and delivery teams to align commercial goals Represent the business at networking events and industry functions Requirements: Proven experience in a business development role within the construction industry Strong understanding of fit out and refurbishment projects Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strategic mindset with the ability to manage long-term business plans Ambition to step into a Director-level role in the near future This is a career-defining opportunity for a commercially driven Business Development Manager ready to step up.
