Category Manager

Travel Category Manager - £75k -£80k plus bonus. 12 month FTC. Kent x3 days per week. An Iconic UK sports brand is seeking to hire a dynamic and dedicated Category manager to take control of spend across Travel and Events. You'll be working with a truly global brand in a highly accomplished procurement function. Main Responsibilities. Engage with key suppliers, including airlines, hotels and travel operators to ensure robust commercial agreements Deliver sourcing opportunities through analysis of procurement spend, supply base, and marketplace research. Manage the end-to-end Procurement Cycle, including tender preparation, execution, contract award, and subsequent supplier and contract management. Negotiate bespoke contract terms and statements of work with suppliers. Requirements 5 years procurement experience at a senior level position within a demanding environment MCIPS required as a minimum. Experience of managing contracts across Travel including complex, high value agreements with global hotel chains, TMC’s, global hire car companies and exhibition providers. Experience of setting up, managing, and calling off from Framework agreements and Statement of Works. Working knowledge of P2P and Procurement systems, preferably Microsoft D365 This is an exciting opportunity to join a global sports brand known across the world.
