Senior Quantity Surveyor – Real Estate Development Central London | Full Time, Office based | up to £90,000 plus bonus Ready to shape the skyline? As part of their growing Commercial team, they’re now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor (or Commercial Manager , for the right person) to support the delivery of complex, high-value developments across the UK. The Opportunity You will play a key role in driving cost-effectiveness across a multi-project portfolio, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery of major design-and-build contracts. Projects range from 300 bed hotels to 700 bed student schemes -all at different stages of planning and construction. This is a high-visibility, commercially strategic role, reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Management and working across the full development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage detailed cost plans, procurement schedules, and project cash flows Advise on commercial aspects from early-stage acquisition through to post-contract delivery Oversee tendering processes and contractor negotiations Manage change control procedures and assess impact on project budgets Report regularly on costs and performance to senior stakeholders Coordinate closely with Development Managers, Contractors, Cost Consultants, and Fund Monitors Lead commercial input across all RIBA stages, from feasibility to closeout What You'll Need Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field Strong developer-side experience in student accommodation, hotels or BTR (Main Contractor's experience would also be considered for this role) Excellent knowledge of procurement, estimating and cost planning Highly organised with strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills Comfortable overseeing multiple projects simultaneously from pre-construction through to delivery What’s on Offer Up to £90,000 basic for the right individual Bonus: Performance bonus of up to 25% Perks: Training & coaching allowance, global hotel discounts Career growth: Exposure to large-scale developments and opportunity to shape commercial strategy Culture: Purpose-driven, design-led and community-focused business with an entrepreneurial spirit This is your opportunity to join a fast-growing real estate platform with real impact, delivering projects that reshape communities and set new standards in development.
