Together, we are envisioning community health for all. About the Role We are currently seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to join our leadership team. This critical role is responsible for the strategic oversight and optimization of all revenue cycle operations across our health system, ensuring compliance with FQHC-specific regulations including HRSA guidelines and sliding fee discount standards. The Director of RCM collaborates closely with clinical, financial, and administrative leaders to ensure accurate, timely, and effective financial processes that support our mission. Key Responsibilities Lead and optimize revenue cycle processes including registration, verification, billing, collections, and reporting. Develop and implement RCM policies and workflows across all clinic sites and service lines. Ensure full compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and FQHC-specific regulations. Collaborate with clinic and operational leadership to maximize charge capture and EHR/practice management efficiencies. Analyze and address trends in denials, clearinghouse rejections, and other system issues. Provide accurate and timely reporting on revenue generation and operational performance. Serve as the expert resource for RCM and front desk registration best practices. Support special projects including the 340(b) pharmacy program and ad-hoc analysis as needed. Supervise Clinic Office Managers and support their development in revenue cycle compliance and performance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Management, or related field; or 10 years of equivalent healthcare finance experience. Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS, CCS, CPC, etc.). Proven knowledge and leadership experience in revenue cycle operations. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Finance or Healthcare Management. Certified Revenue Cycle Management Specialist (CRCMS). Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
