Prep Cook/Sous Chef

All Occasions Catering & Bubb’s BBQ is hiring a full-time Prep Cook or Sous Chef to support our kitchen operations and help create delicious meals for weddings, corporate events, celebrations of life, and everything in between. This role is ideal for someone with strong kitchen experience who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in quality, and thrives in a collaborative setting. What You’ll Do: Assist with prepping, cooking, and assembling food according to event menus and chef instructions Ensure consistent taste, portioning, and presentation across all dishes Keep your workspace clean, organized, and fully stocked Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times Help with packing and organizing food for off-site events Jump in wherever needed—we’re a team-first kitchen Who You Are: Experienced in a kitchen environment (catering or high-volume experience is a plus) Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure Flexible and willing to learn different roles in the kitchen Able to communicate clearly and work well with others Dependable and committed to showing up and giving your best Preferred (But Not Required): Culinary training or coursework Familiarity with food safety protocols Valid driver’s license (for occasional event-related needs) Why Join Us: Competitive pay: Looking at a $22–$25/hour range based on experience Consistent full-time hours with flexible scheduling where possible Fun and supportive team culture Opportunity to grow your skills in a high-energy catering kitchen If you're looking to join a tight-knit team with great music taste where your work is appreciated and no two days are the same, we’d love to meet you.
