Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and event spaces, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Manage and coordinate a busy diary of weddings, corporate functions, and hospitality events. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence. Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and drive revenue growth. Maintain impeccable attention to detail, ensuring all events run seamlessly. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Industry Experience: Minimum of 7 years' experience in the hospitality sector, ideally with time spent across multiple departments in an independent environment. Leadership: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team across all operational departments, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance, doesnt have to be an F and B route to the top could have been front office Hands-On Approach: Willingness to be visible on the floor and actively involved in daily operations, ensuring standards are consistently upheld Guest Experience Focused: Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations. Operational Oversight: Responsibility for ensuring smooth daily operations, including rotas, supplier management, health & safety compliance, and departmental coordination. Problem Solver: Calm under pressure with strong decision-making skills; able to manage incidents, complaints, and last-minute changes effectively. Commercial Awareness: Understanding of hotel revenue streams, cost control, and profitability; able to support or lead departmental budgeting and forecasting. Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with PMS, POS, and stock control systems; able to analyse operational reports and implement improvements. Team Development: Experienced in recruiting, training, mentoring, and performance managing staff to drive standards and morale.
