Who We Are Arka Design Studio is an ambitious, multi-disciplinary practice based in Glasgow, known for its design driven, creative work and friendly, supportive culture. We are looking for a skilled and motivated ARB registered Architect to join our close-knit team and play a key role in delivering a wide variety of exciting projects. Our Current Work Includes: Leisure and hospitality, specialising in sports-related venues Bespoke high end homes Private and Social Housing Community based projects What You’ll Do: Contribute to the design and delivery of high quality architecture across all RIBA stages Prepare and coordinate planning, tender, and construction drawing packages Lead projects confidently, managing the process and guiding clients with clear communication Collaborate effectively with colleagues, consultants, and clients throughout each project Apply careful attention to detail during design and technical phases What We’re Looking For: Experience across all RIBA Work Stages Strong design sensibility and visual communication skills Proficiency in technical drawing and detailing Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes Excellent time management and organisational abilities Software proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite Experience with 3D modelling software (desirable but not essential) What We Offer: A competitive salary reflective of experience and skills Flexible working arrangements A friendly, inclusive team environment Involvement in a wide variety of project types and scales
