This position is based out of Vero Beach, FL Candidates must have a minimum of five years’ Radio Frequency (RF) systems/Land Mobile Radio (LMR) sales experience with one of these five manufacturers solutions: · L3Harris, Tait, Kenwood, EF Johnson or Motorola. Position Summary The Vice President of Sales will play a pivotal role in achieving Company's growth objectives by developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy. This leader will oversee a sales team, leveraging their expertise in telecommunications and public safety to deepen existing partnerships and explore new markets. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales executive with proven experience and a strategic mindset aimed at sustainable expansion. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy and Execution Develop and implement a sales strategy to expand market share in both core and emerging segments. Establish and achieve revenue targets in line with the company's growth objectives. Drive initiatives to extend market reach beyond traditional public safety integration. 2. Team Leadership and Development Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Cultivate a collaborative team environment that aligns with the company's employee-owned values. 3. Market Expansion and Growth Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the company's footprint, focusing on governmental, enterprise, and other telecommunications sectors. Drive sales efforts in areas where public safety integration adds value and differentiate the company from competitors. 4. Customer Relationships and Partnerships Strengthen relationships with key clients and develop strategic partnerships to enhance service offerings and competitive positioning. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their evolving needs and customizing solutions to support their goals. 5. Performance Analysis and Reporting Oversee sales performance metrics, analyzing results to inform strategy adjustments and optimize team performance. Regularly report on sales activity, revenue forecasts, and key insights to the executive team and board. 6. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure sales strategies are aligned with product development and service delivery. Support marketing efforts to enhance brand awareness in new markets and drive demand for innovative telecommunications solutions. Qualifications · Experience: Minimum 5 years in sales leadership within telecommunications. · Leadership: Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a competitive, fast-paced environment. · Strategic Vision: Ability to set and execute a sales strategy that balances growth with sustainable client relationships. · Market Knowledge: Understanding of telecommunications and public safety markets, including the competitive landscape, customer needs, and regulatory environment. · Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a history of managing C-suite and governmental client relationships.
