We are based in Towson, Maryland, and serve clients throughout Maryland, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Our firm has built a culture around professionalism, collaboration, and long-term client relationships. About the Role We are seeking a full-time Attorney to join our Estate Planning team. In this position, your role would be to meet with individuals and families who have expressed interest in estate planning services via the company's marketing efforts (you don't have to bring in your own clients). You would listen to their concerns, as well as their goals and objectives, and propose the best solution to help them achieve their objectives. You would guide them to make a decision to move forward with your proposed plan, collecting partial payment. Key Responsibilities - Meet with prospective clients to recommend appropriate estate planning solutions (e.g., Asset Protection Trusts, Revocable Living Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney) - Guide clients through the full planning process, including document review and execution - Collaborate with paralegals to ensure timely and accurate document drafting - Maintain accurate records and client communications using our internal systems - Participate in weekly team meetings and training sessions - Occasionally assist in team-building and professional development events Schedule & Work Environment - Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM - This is an in-office role based in Annapolis, MD. - Prioritize client facing meetings throughout the day Ideal Candidate Profile - A strong communicator who listens actively and explains complex concepts clearly - Comfortable presenting estate plans and handling client questions or objections - Able to follow structured consultation frameworks and maintain high closing rates - Organized and tech-savvy, with familiarity in Microsoft Office, Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat - Professional, client-focused, and growth-oriented Requirements - Law degree and license to practice in Maryland -Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a professional law firm environment. - Ability to engage new clients in initial consultations - Excellent communication skills, written and verbal - Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, etc.) - Willingness to undergo a background check Compensation & Firm-Wide Benefits -Competitive Salary – $100,000–$120,000 -Paid Twice Monthly – On the 7th and 21st. -Benefits Start on Day One -Health Insurance (CareFirst) – 50% company contribution. -Dental & Vision Insurance – Offered as part of your benefits package. -Short- & Long-Term Disability Insurance – 100% employer-paid. -Basic Life Insurance – 100% employer-paid. -401(k) – Up to 4% company matching, no vesting period. -15 Days of PTO Annually – Increases with tenure. -3 Weeks Paid Parental Leave -7 Paid Holidays -Employee Discounts -Paid Training & Onboarding What You Can Expect in the Hiring Process - Submit application - Phone interview (10–15 minutes) - Virtual interview via Microsoft Teams (1 hour) - Candidate assessment (sent via email) - In-person interview (1 hours) - Reference checks - Job offer and onboarding Application Instructions: -We encourage everyone to include a cover letter, your resume, and a statement of interest with your application. -Join our team and become an integral part of an esteemed estate planning law firm that values its clients and employees alike.
