We are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated professional to join our team as a Vessel Refurbishment Project Manager Role Summary The Vessel Refurbishment Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of refurbishment projects from development handover through drydock completion. This role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders - including technical and electrical operations, hotel operations, designers, supply chain, contractors, and shipboard staff - to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project delivery. The Project Manager will also oversee contractor coordination, logistics planning, pre-drydock preparation (such as cruise prep, inspections, and training), on-site supervision during drydock periods, defect tracking, and post-project reconciliation including warranty follow-up and financial account reconciliation. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all phases of refurbishment projects across the fleet Collaborate with hotel operations, technical departments, designers, FF&E teams, supply chain, and contractors Oversee project planning, logistics, budgeting, procurement (REQ/PO tracking), and execution Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards Conduct on-site supervision during drydock periods, including pre-drydock activities Manage defect tracking, warranty follow-up, and post-project reconciliation Maintain clear communication and reporting with all internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications Master’s degree in Design, Architecture, Marine Engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of experience in the marine industry At least 3 years of cruise ship refurbishment or new build project management experience Strong project management, organizational, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, international environment Why Join Us Work on high-impact refurbishment projects within a globally recognized brand Collaborate with experienced professionals across disciplines and continents Contribute directly to shaping the guest experience for millions of travelers worldwide
