The Role In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing our global insurance portfolio and developing a robust risk management framework to safeguard the company’s assets, operations, and reputation. You’ll assess and mitigate a wide range of risks—from operational and financial to environmental and reputational—while ensuring adequate and cost-effective insurance coverage. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities 1. Insurance Program Management Manage the company’s global insurance portfolio, ensuring adequate coverage for property, liability, professional indemnity, Worker's compensation, cyber, Directors & Officers (D&O), and other key risks. Oversee policy renewals, reviews, invoicing, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Act as the main liaison with brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders across global operations. Review new business ventures and exposures to ensure timely insurance declarations and coverage. Maintain strong market intelligence and advise on insurance strategy, program structure, and cost efficiency. Ensure all insurance documentation is accurate and processed promptly. 2. Claims Management Lead end-to-end claims management, ensuring timely filing, follow-up, and resolution in coordination with insurers and internal teams. Support major claims cases, monitor claim progress, and protect company interests. Conduct post-claim reviews to identify process improvements. Secondary Responsibilities Identify, assess, and monitor enterprise-wide risks, including operational, financial, strategic, and reputational risks. Collaborate with business units and leadership to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Track key risk indicators (KRIs) and report regularly on risk exposure and performance. Support the integration of risk management into business planning and decision-making processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance management, risk management, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), or Certified Risk Manager (CRM) are highly desirable. Experience in the hospitality industry or in a global company is an advantage. Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data. Technical & Professional Competencies Strong understanding of corporate insurance programs, including policy design, risk exposure analysis, and claims management. Proven ability to negotiate insurance contracts and manage broker and insurer relationships. Skilled in identifying emerging risks and developing practical risk mitigation solutions.
