Head Guide Luxury Safari Lodge Are you a passionate and experienced guide ready to lead from the front? A prestigious safari lodge is seeking a dynamic Head Guide to oversee and inspire a team of field guides while delivering unforgettable wildlife experiences to our guests. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the guiding team to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and guest interaction. Conduct exceptional game drives and walking safaris with strong interpretive skills and environmental awareness. Manage guiding rosters, daily briefings, and training programs. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and reserve regulations. Oversee the maintenance and readiness of safari vehicles, equipment, and rifles. Handle administrative duties including sightings logs, incident reports, and guest feedback. Collaborate with lodge management to ensure a seamless guest experience. Promote conservation ethics and responsible tourism at every opportunity. Requirements: FGASA Level 2 or higher (Lead Trails Guide preferred) Valid PDP, First Aid Level 1, and Rifle Competency At least 3-5 years experience in a Big 5 reserve, with leadership experience Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills A deep passion for the bush, conservation, and guest engagement Join a team where your leadership and love for the wild will help shape unforgettable memories for guests from around the world.
