Class 2 Driver Days (Permanent) Location: Wetherby Division: Driving Recruitment SWIFT Temps Ltd, Bradford Office Rate: £15.90 per hour (PAYE) Holiday Accrual SWIFT Temps Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our valued client in Wetherby for a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver on a full-time, permanent basis . About the Company Our client is one of the UKs leading drinks wholesalers, supplying beverages to thousands of venues across the countryfrom luxury hotels and high-profile event spaces to independent restaurants and community pubs. The Role As a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver , you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of drinks products to commercial customers. Working alongside a Drivers Mate, you will ensure each order is delivered safely, efficiently, and with a high standard of customer service . Key Responsibilities Carry out daily vehicle checks and safety inspections Secure and check orders before departure Communicate route details and order information with your Drivers Mate Deliver to customer premises, unloading stock as required Collect empty kegs, pallets, and returns Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic POD tasks Liaise with the Transport Management team regarding delays or vehicle issues Comply with all Tachograph and driving legislation About You Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience , including at least 2 years as a Class 2 driver Hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence and CPC qualification Strong geographical knowledge of the local area Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred Committed to excellent customer service and professional conduct Willing to undergo DVLA licence checks Working Hours Monday to Friday (some weekend work required during peak periods such as Christmas and major events) Typical hours: 5:00am 2:00pm (early finish possible when deliveries are completed) Pay & Benefits £15.90 per hour (PAYE) Holiday pay accrued separately Permanent position with long-term security How to Apply Please just click to send me your cv to McMillan Serrant at SWIFT Temps Ltd Bradford Office.
